Dawn rises on yet another star-spangled birthday.
Freedom soars as torches renew.
Charred dogs and patties on the grill; celebrations underway!
The tableware adorned all red, white, and blue!
The fireworks are readied, so too is the assassin.
There’s nothing more American, then a race against the Glock!
Just a man, with a love for the Second Amendment, a strong-willed passion!
As the party-goers scream and run around the block!
What good is a gun if you can’t use it?
The bullets, masked by the dazzling fireworks boom, reap the dead!
As the bodies pile onto the blood-soaked floor, bit by bit.
The grill is left unattended and the tableware blends with a second hue of red.
Happy Fourth of July, to you and to I!
Another school, another festival, another market, another, another, another.
And the tombstones we cement with a bitterly-anguished goodbye!
A sister, a mother, a father, a brother.
Are but the last tears that sink as Death we defy!
Happy Fourth of July! Look at the fireworks and take cover.
